Cate Blanchett who is the star of the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with Brad Pitt tells Vanity Fair that she never had any facelift surgery before. She is 39 years old already but she has maintained a youthful look.

She admits that being in Hollywood can bring a lot of pressure to celebrities. It is the responsibility of the actors to look good because that is what the people are paying for–watching beautiful actors on screen. That is why there are a lot of celebrities today who are having facelift surgeries. Cate Blanchett says that there is nothing wrong with it but they should not be too obsessed with their looks.

When asked if she plans to have face lift surgery when she gets older, Cate Blanchett says that she doesn’t have any. Her husband likes her to show the signs of history on her face. She says that the wrinkles on her face tells a lot about her life. She adds that her husband likes her the way she is with wrinkles and all.
